January 2027 TCN Short Course

The January TCN Short Course will be held virtually January 13-15, 2027.
Overview
The TCN Short Course provides an intensive introduction to the science, technology, and techniques used in nanofabrication. Offered twice each year by the Cornell NanoScale Facility, the course combines lectures and laboratory demonstrations to provide a practical introduction to key nanofabrication processes.
The course is designed for faculty, students, postdocs, staff, and professionals who want to become quickly familiar with the technologies and processes used in the nanofabrication environment. Participants must be at least 18 years old to attend the in-person session.
Please note: The TCN Short Course complements, but does not replace, the three part training required to become a user of our facility.

Day 4: Nanoelectrode Fabrication (8:30am - 5:00pm)
Dress Code
There is a mandatory dress code for the CNF clean room which must be followed each day of the course.

The Best Western offers complimentary continental breakfast and shuttle service to campus.Rates: Sunday through Thursday $99/night; Friday and Saturday $139/night.
Accommodation arrangements should be made in advance, Ithaca area hotels fill up quickly due to University Events.

No complimentary registrations are available.
Cancellations:
If a cancellation request is not received at least 10 days prior to the course, or if you do not attend, you will be responsible for the full course fee.
